Punjab, the land of five rivers is spread over about 50,362 sq km. the state having an astounding cultural history is situated in the north-west part of the country. Punjab by Road: The whole state is linked through a well-developed network of well-built roads. State Highways are linked to the main cities of the state. NH 1 or the Grand Trunk Road connects the state with the north as well as the east India.
