Visakha Utsav

The magnanimous festival of the Visakha Utsav is of great significance in the city of Visakhapatnam. This festival renders an occasion to display culture, arts, crafts and cuisine of Vishakhapatnam. The annually-held three day long festival is organized by the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department. The third Friday marks the beginning of this festival, which concludes on Sunday of the very week and is held in the month of December.

These three days are observed with jubilant celebrations. The fairs in the event render the artisans to display their talents through arts and crafts, which in result relives the culture and heritage of the city of Vishakhapatnam.
