Teen Murti Bhavan is a major tourist attraction in New Delhi, India. Designed by Robert Tor Russell, the place was once the official residence of the first prime minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Formerly known as the Flagstaff House, in those days, it used to be the dwelling place of the British Commander-in-Chief. Built in 1930, Teen Murti Bhavan houses a Nehru Memorial Museum and Library (NMML), which runs under the Indian Ministry of Culture and is governed by Dr. Karan Singh who is the chairman of its Executive Council. The Jawahar Jyoti or the undying flame was lit on Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday and is having his epitaph is also there in the same complex.


Teen Murti Bhavan is set up in the middle of the gardens with rose bed. The Kushk Mahal is near the Teen Murthi Bhavan while the Nehru Memorial is in the same premises which remain closed on Mondays.
