The crystal clear frozen lake of Sela nestles in the north eastern part of India, in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. The lake is situated at an elevation of about 13,700 ft above the sea level. Sela pass is also recognized as the home of 101 lakes and each of these lakes are considered as blessed ones by the Buddhist community.


The site render magnificent views of breath taking lake and the site is a replica of heaven and is all covered under the blanket of snow giving a pristine and a pious look to the region. It is a perfect location for spending your holidays in a natural setting while having a cup of coffee in your hands. It is truly a magical sight with snow all around, especially in the month of January.


You can also spot a few Brahminy (Ruddy) Shel ducks floating on the waters of the lake. Sela pass is also an important place on the India-China border and hre you can witness Indian army camps and soldiers.
