Orang National Park is the wildlife sanctuary situated in Darrang and Sonitpur districts of Assam, India. Situated on the north bank of the Brahmputra River, the Orang national park covers the area of 78.81 square kilometers (30.43 sq mi). The sanctuary came into existence in 1985 and declared a National Park on 13 April 1999. Because of the similar built up of the parks it is also known as mini Kaziranga National Park (IUCN site). The park rich with the wide varieties of flora and fauna is inhabited by the Great Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros. October to April is the ideal time to visit the park.
