Nizam Museum in Hyderabad is located in a purana havelis in the center of the city and is one of the great tourists place in Andhra Pradesh, India. Just 2 kms from Charminar, this amazing museum has got great collection of antiques that are visited and explored by large number of people travelling in the city. The place was acquired in 1750 by the Nizam, is now transformed as a museum with a fascinating collection of gifts that the last Nizam of Hyderabad state, Osman Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VII received on his silver jubilee celebrations. Among the antiques, the vintage collection of Rolls Royce, Mark V Jaguar and Packard from 1930 is also displayed in the museum. Furthermore, Gold-furnished wooden throne used during the celebrations, a gold wooden Tiffin box with diamond inlaid it, coffee cups made of silver and studded with diamonds are also seen in the museum.  Also, silver models of all the landmark buildings found in Hyderabad and the silver Jubilee pavilion are also showcased in Nizam Museum.


The museum was opened for general public on 19th February 2000. Tourists can now visit the place on daily basis from 10 am to 5 pm except on Fridays. The entry fee for adults is Rs. 65 and for children it is Rs 15.


Nizam museum is one of the must place to visit for all and is thus a great way knowing various amazing aspects related to Andhra Pradesh.
