One of the most popular beaches in the district of South Goa is Mobor Becah, which is the point of incredible synthesis of the Sal River and the Arabian Sea, creating a spectacular sight to behold. The gentle warm water at the beach side which touches the pristine white sands creates a charisma at the sight. The noise of the waves that calms down with a touch of beach sand renders an emotional touch to the viewer. The verdant greenery adds a life to the beach.
The beach spot is a perfect destination for the adventurous water spots as it offers a plethora of water sports activities such as water skiing, water surfing, jet ski, banana and bump rides and parasailing. Apart from these, biking is also another favorite sport among the tourist of the Mobor Beach.
Also recognized as Cavelossim Beach, Mobor Beach was discovered only in 1980 and before which it was a barren piece of land. The beach is a small stretch of just 11 km from the south of Colva beach. The Beach is quite secluded and out-of-the-way, thus it only has a few beach shacks.
The best time to pay a visit to more popularly known Mobor Beach is between the months of September and March, as during this time the climate is pleasant and moderate.
