Tourists sightseeing in Mcleodganj This small town is blessed with many places to visit like ancient temples, monasteries and structures. Tsuglagkhang is the main temple preserving Sakyamuni Buddha, Avalokitesvara and Padmasambhava. Another attraction in Mcleodganj is TIPA, Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts, which is a treat for the art lovers. Bhagsu Falls, Dal Lake, Triund, Namgyal Monastery and St. John in the Wilderness an Anglican church are other places that appeals visitors. Then, there is an annual event, incorporating dance, music, theatres and arts, which are held for the consecutive 10 days. This festival takes place in the month of May.


Climate of Mcleodganj The climate of McLeodganj is uniformly pleasant all round the year. The best months for visiting here are mid-September to June. Here winters are extremely cold with heavy snowfall in the months of December till February. Summers are cool and pleasant concluding with the commencement of monsoon in the month of July, which lasts till August.
