The small but amazingly beautiful hill station in Assam, Maibong is located in the north eastern side of India.  It is located 333 Km away from Guwahati and is admired for the splendid natural environment. Maibong has Mahur River that flows along with the town. The tourist places to visit in Maibong include Kachari Kingdom. It lies in the southern part of the city. It is related to the Kachari kings and is the part of the old city of Maibong. Another important site in Maibong is the Ramchandi Temple. It is one of the ancient temples in India built in 12th century in the year 1761. The temple is structured magnificently and has two roofs.

You can travel to this wonderful place via air flights that will drop you to the Guwahati airport which is the nearest airport to this place.
