Kesar Bhawan stands as the oldest palace in the town of Mount Abu. This palatial structure was constructed by Maharaja Daiwat Singh of Sirohi, in the year 1968. Initially, the palace served as the guesthouse to the royal dignitaries for their rest, stay and enjoy. The palace has been designed I such a way as to suit the climatic conditions of the area, as the town of Mount Abu receives an average rainfall of 150 inches, every year. The palace is visited by a great number of tourists for its inherent grandeur.
