Karna Lake (Uchana) is nestled in the district of Karnal the state of Haryana. According to the legends, the character Karna from the epic Mahabharata founded the city.  In addition, this state stands as the hometown of Indian born astronaut Kalpana Chawla.

The Karna Lake is situated at a distance of about 5 km north of Karnal on the Delhi-Amritsar highway. It is a serene place executing ravishing beauty of nature.
