This little island has lots of places to visit such as Havelock Marlborough Sounds, the green shell mussel capital of the world and gateway to the Pelorus Sound and the Kenepuru Sound. There are beaches like Radhanagar Beach, Havelock Beach, Doongi Dives, Kala Pathar Beach, Neil Island, Ocean Tribe Scuba Diving and Andaman Bubbles. It is an excellent tourist place with tours, cruises, boat charters, eco boat tour, boat cruise, fishing trips, walking tracks, hiking and sea kayaking.


Climate of Havelock Island
Havelock experiences almost universal climate through out the year with mild variations. Here summers are warm and pleasant with humid air, which takes its hold during the months of March till May. Then monsoon start off here in the month of May which lasts till August and again this place enjoys the post monsoon in September till November, having medium to heavy rainfalls. Winters are mild here. The best time to visit Havelock Island is from October to May.


How to reach Havelock Island
The nearest airport for Havelock is of Port Blair from where you can board a commuter boat and can reach the place. For your further convenience just make sure about the timings. Regular flights from Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Bangalore and Mumbai to Veer Savarkar International Airport are available. From places like Chennai, Visakhapatnam and Kolkata you can also commute through.
