Goa Science Center

Goa science center is an important tourist site and a major place to collect information related to science and technology in Goa, India. Situated in Caranzalem, which is on the New Marine Highway that connects Miramar and Panaji. The gallery exhibits fun science with wonderful models on scientific principles. Goa science center was set up with a view to have science centers all over the country. Started building in 1999, it took over two and a half years to built the center. Goa Science Centre is a constituent unit of National Council of Science Museums functioning under the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India and has been developed with collaborative support from the Government of Goa.


The museum is spread in an area of 20,000 sq. m area and features daily science shows for young children. Science demonstration lectures, 3D film shows, science film shows, cyber lab shows and Taramandal shows are also organized on daily basis at the center. The museum remains open from 10:30 am – 6:30 pm on daily basis. Entry fee to the Goa science center is Rs 10 for adults and Rs 5 for children.
