Easter

Easter is the famous Christian festival celebrated as the resurrection of the Lord, Jesus Christ.

The festival is celebrated on the Sunday when the large number of Christians comes to pray to the church. The day is celebrated because of the Christians strong believe on the fact that Jesus came back to life three days after his death on the cross. The death of the Jesus is the part of the Easter season that commensurate on Good Friday, the Friday just before Easter Sunday. The Easter Sunday pray at various Christian churches is attended by maximum people.

Also, according to western Christianity, Easter marks the end of Lent, a 40-day period of fasting, repentance, moderation and spiritual discipline. The whole period is known as the Easter season. Lent begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Easter Sunday. Eastern Orthodox churches observe Lent for the long period of 6 weeks or 40 days. The whole Easter season is observed with complete fasting. The Easter day by many Christians refer the holy day as Resurrection day.

Easter marks the special day especially for Christians as the day is believe to be the comeback day of their God, Jesus Christ after his death. The day is celebrated in the memory of Jesus and with great pleasure.
