Built in 1957, the international Doll museum in Delhi, India provides the opportunity to explore some of the best and unique dolls from all over the world. It is one of the most fascinating places to visit for children in Delhi. The museum was set up by the renowned political cartoonist, K. Shankar Pillai. The place featured 6500 dolls from over 85 countries. The museum is divided into two major segments; one having dolls from Greece, Yugoslavia, Mexico, Poland, Thailand, South Korea, the United Kingdom, USSR, etc. and the other one having dolls from Asian and Indian places. At the museum, the dolls are displayed as per the different themes like man on the moon, Japanese Kabuki dancer, etc.


The museum also displays the dolls wearing closing from all the different parts of India. One of the major attractions at the museum is the doll workshop. People of all the ages will have great time exploring the beautiful and unique dolls at the museum. There is no other place which will get you to see such a huge collection of dolls from all over the world.


The doll museum is located near Nehru House, 4 Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and can be visited from 10 A.M. To 6 P.M.
