Located in the Kendrapara District of Orissa in eastern India, Bhitarkanika national park is one of the famous tourist destinations in India. Covering the area of 672 km², there is a mangrove swamp called as Bhitarkanika Mangroves, lies in the river delta of the Brahmani, Baitarani, and Dhamra rivers.
