Bhandardara, nestled in the lap of Sahyadri Hills is a holiday getaway destination lying on the western coast of India. This village is positioned in the district of Ahmednagar in the Indian state of Maharashtra and is at a distance of about 185 kilometers from Mumbai.

Bhandardara has loads of attractions to experience as from majestic Wilson Dam to wondrous Arthur Lake. It is believed that Shri Agasti Rishi meditated here for a year and pleased with his devotion and dedication God stepped in on the land and blessed Shri Agasti Rishi with a stream of the Ganga River, which is now known as the Pravara River. Other excursions from here are Ratangad and Harishchandragad fort.
The place is situated in the interiors of the state of Maharashtra it experiences sea changes in the climatic conditions. As here, summers are really hot and winters are quite cold.
