Bhadli Fair is one of the important fair celebrated with great zeal in Jharkhand state of India. It is the religious fair which is participated by the large number of people from all over the country. The festival is celebrated in a place in Jharkhand which is known as Itkhori. Bhadli fair is celebrated on the day of Makar Sakranti in a famous temple of Goddess kali and Lord Shiva. Bhadli Fair is an ancient fair and celebrated from earlier times.  The fair used to gather a lot of crowd on the day. However, the reason of celebration and the origin of the fair is still not known. Still the festival is celebrated with great passion and enjoyment at the place.


There are various other cattle fairs celebrated in the state Chatra fair, the Kundri Mela, the Kolhaiya Mela and others. Apart from that, there are some festivals that are celebrated in Jharkhand but their reason for origin is not known to anyone just like Bhadli fair.
