Baga Beach

Baga Beach

Nestled in the district of the North Goa, Baga Beach is popular for its brown sands and the creek, popularly known as the Baga Creek. The beach is abounded by the Calangute Beach in its southern side and is bordered by the famous Anjuna Beach in its northern side.

The beach starts off with the Baga Creek and in the southern side of the creek, the Baga Beach is sprawled with a massive sheet of sand beds. The baga beach takes its position where the appearance of the Calangute beach starts fading. This popular beach destination of the district of North Goa is just at a distance of around 9 km from the town of Mapusa in Goa and is at a distance of 16 km from the state capital, Panaji.

This destination with the natural splendor has lots of distractions like beach stalls offering beer and seafood, seashell trinkets, local crafts and buckets and spades. Baga Beach is also famous for its water sports and Dolphin cruises. Early in the morning, you can catch the glimpses of the glimpses of fishermen hunting for fishes, joggers and people practicing yoga.

And during the hours of the dusk, you can see people strolling and witnessing the fading, which takes you to the glamorous nightlife at the beach with Goan and western music which refreshes and rejuvenates the soul into a complete party mood and with this you won’t even realize that when the roof of full moon sky turns out to be the roof of the rising sun. The beach destination is a perfect holiday destination which can relieve you from your daily stress and routine work.
