Badkhal Lake has derived its name from the Persian word “bedakhal”, meaning free from interference. Badkhal Lake is spread over 206 acres, is a gorgeous man-made lake wrapped up in tranquility and calmness. The lake is situated at a distance of about 32 kms from the capital and is enclosed with the low-lying Aravalli hills, gushing streams with chirping birds, giving it a backdrop of lush green gardens, forms a place as the perfect picnic place.
