Anjuna Beach in the northern part of Goa can be mapped out as you just need to drive about 18 Km from Panaji and you will step in the white sands that are infringed by the coconut palms, the Anjuna Beach. It is situated in Bardez Taluka is a part of the west coast of Goa along the Arabian Sea.


Popularly known as the freak capital of the world, the Anjuna Beach is enveloped with sheer beauty that is beyond description. The beach is popular for holding Trance Parties and the Hippies. The beach sets itself amidst the rocky curved and swayed palms and is a must visit beach to have a firsthand experience of the pleasures of a perfect amalgamation of the nature and life.


Apart from its natural beauty and splendor, other major attractions in the beach are Albuquerque Mansion and Flea Market. The magnificent Albuquerque Mansion is believed to be constructed in the year 1920 and the flea market also known as the Wednesday market is sort of fair market that is organized on Wednesdays, which displays to sell all the basic needs of life. The other attractions that interest the tourist at the beach are the Mascarenhas Mansion, and the Chapora fort.


The beach is also popular for its full moon, also known as acid house parties. In the time zone, the full moon parties with great music and ambience effortlessly convert night into day, signaling the time out for the party.
