Swaroop Sagar Lake, locally known as Kumharia Talaba is a small manmade lake and was constructed by Maharana Swaroop Singh. The lake got its name from its founder. It was actually constructed as to provide water to the people of the city of Udaipur. The lake is also linked with the Lake Pichola and Fateh Sagar Lake.
The lake gushed behind the famous temple known as Jagdish Temple, which is situated near Chand Pol and adjoins Rangsagar Lake.
This peaceful lake is an excellent idea to have some time with you and your loved ones, in the calm and peaceful place as most of the time it is caught with silence and aloof. The lake also provides an option for boating and can be reached via road.
