Built in 1917 under the British Raj, Patna Museum is an impressive example of Mughal and Rajput architecture. The museum is commonly called as Jadu Ghar and is a great place to witness several metal and stone sculptures that date back to the Gupta and Mauryan Eras. The museum also displays various archaeological objects, coins, art objects, paintings, instruments, textiles, paintings, thankas, bronze images and sculptures and terra cotta images made by Hindu and Buddhist artists.
