The grandiose structure which is formally known as Sunrise Palace in Mount Abu was erected about a century ago. This impressive structure has been constructed by Maharaja of Bharatpur, who used this palace as his summer resort. Initially, the palace was rendered a name called Bharatpur Kothi as was the summer residence of the royalty.
Due to its strategic location, the notion evoked for converting it into a heritage hotel, which has been established recently. The palace is open for everybody and also allows people to visit and witness the beauty and magnificence of it, as not everybody could afford a stay over the place.
Standing on the highest peak of the town of Mount Abu, the hotel gives an incredible view of the down laid town revealing its natural beauty. This majestic palace has around 20 spacious rooms which includes both Deluxe Rooms as well as Suites. The palace also has two main restaurants namely Cloud9 and 7th Heaven, offering some of the mouth watering and lip smacking delicacies, with exotic wines and cocktails.
