Gangaur Mela is a famous fair of Rajasthan, one of the beautiful states of India. The fair represent the importance of the Gangaur festival celebrated of Rajasthan. The festival is celebrated in some parts of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. It is celebrated by the women of these regions to please goddess Parvati.
Apart from that, there is a tradition of Gangaur Savari during the festival is common. The festival lasts for three days and each day signifies the day of special color like pink, green and orange. Also, each day of the festival is known as on the name of colors. People celebrate the occasion by singing and dancing.
A big fair is also organized which is called as the Gangaur Mela to celebrated the festival. Various entertaining programs are organized at the Gangaur fair. Jhulas are also kept in the festival for the enjoyment. To increase the sweetness of the festival people used to make Ghewar at home at the time of festival. People celebrate the festival with great enethusiasm.
