The foremost beach after crossing Mandovi from Pannaji in the northwest directs is the Sinquerim Beach. This popular beach destination in the state of Goa is the first beach to be encountered and explored in the district of North Goa. The stunning beach in the northern part of Goa is beautiful and quieter that other beaches in the region. The beach is one of the sought after beach destinations with the international class facilities for the water sport activities like water-skiing, para-sailing, fishing, scuba-diving and wind-surfing.


Sinquerim Beach is located just at a 13 km drive from the state capital, Pannaji. The beach is located just below the historical monument in the region, the Aguada Fort. The beach is also known to be one of te oldest preserved beaches in the state


This long stretched sandy surface that moves along the coast makes it an ideal spot for long leisure strolls. The shimmering golden sands when merges with the glistening blue waters makes it quite admirable and adorable.


The other excursions from the beach that are situated in a close proximity to the beach are the Auada Fort, Baga Beach and the Candolim Beach. The best time to visit the place is in the months from November to February as during this period the climate is pleasant and moderate, which will make you trip all the more exciting and enjoyable.
